The world in which we live today is different than the world our grandparents knew. Looking back, I can remember how their lives were centered around church, family, and work. They really didn’t focus on material things as seems to be so important these days.
We are constantly bombarded with advertisements and marketing blitzes that try to convince us how we NEED this product or that gadget. When it boils right down to it, material things do not bring us peace, joy, or love in this life. As a matter of fact, if you are not joyful in your spirit, healthy in your body, and loving to your family, it is really difficult to enjoy even the greatest material things this world has to offer.
